Kavaratti serves as both the UT's capital and its main town.The only telecom providers in the Lakshadweep Islands are BSNL and Airtel. Lakshadweep translates to one lakh islands. The native language, which is widely spoken, is Jeseri, a dialect of Malayalam, whereas English is the official language. The most common language on Minicoy Island is Dhivehi.

Ernakulam Junction (ERS) by train -1
One of Kochi, Kerala's main train stations is Ernakulam Junction. If you want to fly to Agatti in Lakshadweep, you can take a bus or taxi from here to Cochin International Airport.

You can hire a taxi to get to Beypore or other coastal cities for your further journey to Lakshadweep after landing at Cochin International Airport or Mangalore Central Railway Station.
2. In coastal towns, local taxis
