Situated at an elevation of 2,438 meters, it is famed for its majestic Karakoram peaks, terraced apricot orchards, and progressive, highly literate communities renowned for their longevity. The Hunza Valley stretches along the left bank of the Hunza River in northern Pakistan, near the borders of China and Afghanistan. It is accessed via the legendary Karakoram Highway (KKH), one of the highest paved international roads in the world. The region is encircled by 6,000+ meter peaks, including Rakaposhi ((7,788 ext{ m})), Ultar Sar, and the iconic Ladyfinger Peak.
You can reach Hunza Valley  from different ways like there are direct flights, direct trains as well as direct buses services available for Hunza Valley.
BY Air : Traveling to Hunza Valley by air requires flying into Gilgit Airport (GIL), which is the closest commercial airport. From there, you will take a scenic 2.5-hour private jeep or car transfer along the Karakoram Highway directly into the valley.  You will fly from Islamabad International Airport  to Gilgit Airport . an online authorization: You must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization 48-72 working hours before you travel. You have to apply for the Pakistan ETA on the official Pakistan Visa Portal, in a similar application method as you would apply for an eVisa.
 
 
 
BY Bus : The main bus stand is on the KKH Aliabad. There are booking agents in town for long-distance buses & jeeps along the KKH. The journey from Islamabad can take as long as 24 hours.
