You can reach Yala National Park from different ways like there are direct flights, direct trains as well as direct buses services available for Yala National Park.
Traveling between Yala National Park and Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo involves a distance of roughly 300 km. The fastest way is by a 45-minute domestic flight to the nearby Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (HRI) or Weerawila (WRZ), followed by a 1-hour drive, while a direct private car takes about 5 to 6 hours. The Department approves the purpose of entry to Sri Lanka. The applicant holds a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of first arrival in Sri Lanka. The Department is satisfied that the applicant has sufficient funds for their stay in Sri Lanka, and for their return passage to their country of origin.
